Preparing for the 2020-2021 Flu Season

It's time to get your flu shot

The continued existence of COVID-19 in no way diminishes the importance of, or our ability to prevent, the seasonal flu. Especially now, maintaining your overall health is important. And, relying on your annual flu shot as a way of lowering your risk of contracting the flu remains just as important and effective.

Options for Getting your flu shot – Introducing Flu Vaccination Saturdays

ACPNY wants to make sure getting your flu shot is convenient, and that you feel confident visiting our offices for this important part your annual health and wellness routine. To do that, we offer the following options:

  • During a regular appointment – You can always add your flu vaccination to a regularly scheduled medical visit.
  • A flu shot appointment – You can contact us for an appointment just to receive your flu vaccination.
  • Flu Vaccination Saturdays – Across our practice, offices will designate certain Saturdays exclusively to administering flu shots. You’ll have a range of appointment times available to get you in and out quickly. To create an efficient and paperless experience, after your flu vaccination, we will send the required Vaccine Information Sheet for the 2020-2021 influenza vaccine and your After-Visit Summary (AVS) directly to your myACPNY patient portal.
